Trent's Wild Cat Adventures - First Episode (Excerpts)

Auckland Zoo carnivore keeper Trent Barclay first appeared on screen in Greenstone’s long-running show The Zoo, where his passion for cats made him a viewer favourite. This spin-off series sees Barclay getting up close to lions in South Africa, in their natural environment. The opening episode visits a rhino and lion nature reserve west of Johannesburg. In this opening excerpt, Barclay meets some young but feisty royal bengal tigers. A safari takes him deep into dangerous cape buffalo territory, and face to face with wild lions, before he takes a turn babysitting rare and deceptively cute white lion cubs.
