bro'Town - A Vegetarian at My Table

Television (Full Length Episode) – 2009

A dodgy meat pie inspires a journey of discovery for the Morningside crew in this episode of animated hit bro'Town. Vale (Oscar Kightley) is gunning to win the school film contest with a documentary investigating the bloody realities of meat eating. After rescuing a crate piglet named Kevin Bacon, Vale and Mack (Dave Fane) embrace vegetarianism, but Valea (Shimpal Lesili) and Jeff da Māori (Fane again) still pine for fried chicken and pork. Vale's decision doesn't play well in rural New Zealand, as corporate meat giant Panterra call in Fred Dagg (voiced by John Clarke himself) to fight in the farmer's corner.

Yeah, shout all you like, son. No one can hear you yelling in the rural sector.
– Fred Dagg (John Clarke) tells Vale (Oscar Kightley) what's what
