The Rule of Jenny Pen

When a stroke incapacitates Stefan, an ageing judge (Australian actor Geoffrey Rush, from Shine) he reluctantly moves into a nursing home. He soon experiences a sinister hierachy set up by resident Dave Crealy (American legend John Lithgow) who terrorises vulnerable residents with a hand puppet and psychological games. The Rule of Jenny Pen is the second feature from director James Ashcroft and writing partner Eli Kent; like debut thriller Coming Home in the Dark, it is adapted from a short story by New Zealand author Owen Marshall. In this trailer, the frail Stefan resists being sucked into Crealey's malevolent sphere.
