Reporter Bernard McLaughlin visits the set of the 1980 movie about New Zealand’s "most controversial murder” the killings of Jeanette and Harvey Crewe. Two scenes are shown being prepared: an exterior tracking shot involving lead actor David Hemmings, and a courtroom interrogation by Ian Watkin. In part two, Arthur Allan Thomas recently freed from nine years in prison, after being convicted of murdering the Crewes watches his own trial being recreated. Elsewhere, producer John Barnett discusses how the script was extensively checked by lawyers before being approved. Read more about the film here
