In this 1984 heavy metal special, Radio with Pictures heads to Wellington's Ascot Theatre for a segment on the local scene. Wellington metallers Tokyo and Strikeforce are joined by Te Puke's Knightshade, with live performances captured alongside crowd shots and interviews with band members and the concert promoter. Both the musical and sartorial fashions of the time are well represented, with footage of punters entering and enjoying the gig as Knightshade play 'Free Love', followed by Tokyo's 'Rock City' and Strikemaster's 'Let Me Go'.
