The main things I can remember about being in this short film was the coldish shower done by hand with a bowl or something like that while I stood in a plastic basin and a hose being used to spray on the window to portray rain and also distinctly remember Elizabeth McRae whacking me with a jandal but actually mostly just hitting the bed. Also I remember a scene when I had to peak through a key hole. Its funny what you can remember even after almost 30 years! It was a great experience and I'm glad I got the opportunity to be in this film and proud to be part of it even if it was just a small part!

I remember the day Mike Westgate made a point of coming up to me between takes to express his delight in working on this project. Jewels Darl was an amazing project to be involved with. The bigots are not to be conciliated. Jewell's Darl stands as a beautiful expression of this maxim.

This was such a clever and delightful film to work, on portraying
an unusual couple beautifully so tenderly.

I recorded the whole About Face series and this is the gem!
