In this short Loading Docs documentary, a young bodybuilder prepares strenuously for his first competition. Teenager Hayden Kendrick must spend hours in the gym, and force down thousands of calories each day to prepare his physique. Kendrick shares his routine, home life and thoughts. Shred offers insights into the bodybuilder's lifestyle and psyche, including interviews with those who understand the extreme training (coaches), to those who are more critical (family). The Loading Docs showcase emerging talent in their filmmaking journeys; Shred marks director Harry Wynn's third documentary.
I'm always sort of focused on the improvements that I could make. Because if you sort of want more, then you'll be in the gym working for more. It's always good to have your goals or...to be unsatisfied. It's a very addicting sport.– Bodybuilder Hayden Kendrick
