Shortland Street - Tillie Potts' Birth

Television (Excerpts) – 2011

This 2011 Shortland Street clip packs in a huge amount of soap-opera action — including a nail-biting car rescue, a doomed wedding and a roadside birth, all in the space of 10 minutes. The focal point is the birth of Tillie Potts, the daughter of doctors Sarah Potts (Amanda Billing) and TK Samuels (Benjamin Mitchell), who at this point are no longer in a relationship. Tillie is dramaticallyborn on the side of the road, when Sarah goes into labour after leaving TK's wedding to Roimata Ngatai (Shavaughn Ruakere). Sarah and TK's relationship was a continuous source of drama during Sarah's decade-long stint on the show.

Warning: This clip contains images of a person injured in a car crash.
