Multimedia group The Front Lawn dug beneath the veneer of Kiwi suburbia to discover darker realities. 'The Beautiful Things' joins the group's earlier track 'The Wedding Song' and Mutton Birds song 'The Heater', in using domestic appliances as symbols of spiritual longing.
