I was one of the chorale in the early 70s. We had a lot fun rehearsing on the Friday night, in Wellington, learning songs and harmonies, then recording on the weekend. Other members of this chorale I remember were Janice Lampen (nee McCarthy) and Gary Henderson, one of NZ's foremost playwrights.
Guest artists included Ray Stevens and Kenny Rogers and the First Edition

Still have a copy of myself on the camera crane (LOL) taken at 'Snow' Rangers house in Remuera when the show was recorded from that location. The auckland Star used it with a composite of Angela D'audney in a TV special.
TVNZ could do a lot worse than doing a modern version of many of the 60's productions. They were extremely popular, low cost and would have a place in today's scenario,
