Before New Zealand got its own version of Next Top Model in 2009, there was Cadbury Dream Model Search. In this 45-minute special, model scout Caroline Barley is on a mission to find the next big thing — and there's a lot of laughs had and tears shed along the way. The competition begins with a nationwide casting call of thousands of young women, before 12 hopefuls are selected for a rigorous model bootcamp. It all culminates in a high-stakes fashion show, where a team of judges select the winner, who will earn a life-changing modelling contract.
