Helmed by veteran director Hugh Macdonald (The Governor), the 1979 telemovie It's Your Child, Norman Allenby is a comedic musing on parental anxiety. Sandra (Ginette McDonald) is feeling cool, calm and collected about her pregnancy, much unlike her partner Norman (Stephen Tozer), whose neuroses are on full display. As Norman prepares for his first child, his imagination frequently gets the better of him, leading to surreal dream sequences; such as children being produced in a factory, or a restaurant full of adults having toddler tantrums.
