Just as an enduring friendship takes time to develop, so too does a well-aged cheese. In this Mainland Cheese commercial, two boys play beside a stream surrounded by fiery-coloured autumn leaves. Shot in the same location across changing seasons, through winter, spring and summer, the boys grow into men and return to the spot to fish. One of the men, now elderly, reminisces on their lifelong friendship, reflecting that "these things take time". The heartfelt commercial formed part of Mainland’s long-running 'Good Things Take Time' campaign, created by Colenso BBDO and composed by Murray Grindlay.
