Former rugby league player Steve Price wanted to leave his 'comfort zone', and having Nepal as his Intrepid Journeys destination certainly does the job. In this episode of the travel show, Price tackles a daunting high altitude trek, spanning 220 kilometres from the northern town of Jomsum to the kingdom of Lo Manthang and back again. Price is keen to take in Nepalase culture, watching the 'living goddess' greet worshippers in Kathmandu, and helping subsistence farmers with their wheat harvest. As the kilometres tick by Price (in his trademark gravelly voice) mulls over his life, and bonds with his young guides.
