About
Intrepid Journeys is New Zealand's most successful travel show by far. Over nine seasons, Kiwi celebrities (from All Blacks to musicians and actors) left home to take the less-travelled path in varied countries and cultures. The Jam TV series debuted on TV One in 2003. With its authenticity and fresh, genre-changing take on a travel show (focusing on personal experiences rather than objectivity), Intrepid Journeys was a landmark in local factual television. Co-creator Jane Andrews and ex NZ On Screen editor Paul Stanley Ward write about the show in the backgrounders.
