In a van dubbed Daphne, performer Lynda Topp travels Tajikistan's Pamir Highway in Central Asia in this episode of Intrepid Journeys. Topp is joined by guide Sergei and driver Slava as she travels through the mountainous country at high altitudes, sipping vodka and fixing flat tyres. Problems with Daphne's wheels eventually overwhelm Lynda, who starts to miss her family as the loneliness of the desolate land starts to set in. Topp samples some delights of Tajikistan, including an off-tune jam session and making friends with a girl named Strawberry. Her trip also includes a dicky tummy and partaking in various yak by-products.
