About

Peppermint Twist’s nostalgic, stylised portrait of 1960s puberty floated onto Kiwi television screens in 1987, winning a solid teen following. Set amongst a group of teens in small town Roseville, the show makes liberal use of period songs and arrangements. This episode involves mounting rivalries over anupcoming limbo contest. The friendly competition soon turns sour when Mandy (Louise Graham) voices her concerns that the other teams are cheating. Further nostalgia value is provided by an appearance from actual 60s music show host Peter Sinclair (C'Mon), who turns up to compere the limbo contest.
