When a father refuses conventional medicine for his terminally ill son, criminal lawyer David Silesi (Jay Laga’aia) finds himself fighting a family law custody battle in this episode of crime drama series Street Legal. Dad Lachie’s pursuit of alternative therapies for his son, Michael, puts him at odds with the Health Authority trying to take custody of his son. Silesi argues that the boy’s remaining time with his father matters more than the gruelling treatment proposed by his doctors. But when Lachie’s addict ex-wife comes to take her son, the pair must go on the run, leaving Silesi to question what is best for the child.
