Quite a brilliant documentary, well-directed, thoughtful, and with sympathetic people on screen. Perhaps more could have been made about Churchill's absurd decision for the invasion - he was in disfavour in British politics many years after - and the courage of the young Bernard Freyberg in keeping fires lit on the beach while the allies withdrew by sea (Freyberg then swam a mile or so out to a waiting vessel).
