About
With their swampy mix of lounge music, psychedelic rock and surf guitar, 1990s band King Loser always stuck out, even among other alternative Flying Nun acts. The feisty energy between co-founders Celia Mancini and Chris Heazlewood, and frequent lineup changes added frisson to any gig. This documentary by Andrew Moore and Cushla Dillon follows the cult band on their final 2016 tour. Mancini died suddenly a year later in 2017, at the age of 50.
