Master musician Tuhi Timoti prepared the musical arrangements for band Kairo in this Koha music special, which ran in three parts. With a superb ear, he simply listened to a cassette recording of each act and wrote out the chords in chart form, for each instrument. He did the job in only one night. This was useful for new artists like Jacob Kereama, who appears in this episode. One seasoned act that also appears is popular jazz trio the 358's. Lead singer and saxophonist Denys Mason, formerly of The Quincy Conserve, brings sheer class to a performance of David Sanborn's Love Will Come Someday. Jazz songstress Jacqui Fitzgerald hosts the episode, and finishes with one of her upbeat compositions Pretty Words.
