This full-length telefeature dramatises the infamous 1985 bombing of the Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior, while docked in Auckland ahead of a protest against French nuclear testing in the Pacific. In the dead of night, two bombs exploded on the hull of the ship, killing Dutch-Portugese photographer Fernando Pereira. Police investigators uncovered a trail leading back to the French secret service, and a web of conspiracy and espionage. The third TV dramatisation of the Rainbow Warrior tragedy was nominated for Best TV Feature at the NZ Film Awards, and for Feature and Script at the NZTV Awards.
