Visual Symphonies - The Outback

Television (Full Length Episode) – 1991

"Cultural ambassador" Lynn of Tawa (played by the multitalented Ginette McDonald) explores the Australian outback in this travel slash comedy show. Alongside experiencing the vast, red heart of Australia, Lynn chats to correspondence school teachers, eccentric camel drivers and busloads of tourists taking in Uluru (Ayers Rock) at sunset. It's not all comic banter; McDonald hears first hand from her host Alec Ross about the deep grief felt by the stolen generation of Aboriginal children. McDonald's brother Michael — who helped craft the Lynn character years before  directs and co-writes.

Don't you need shots if you're to leave Tawa's three mile limit?
