This short film was the winner of the Lock, Load & Film Competition, an initiative from production company Miss Conception Films. The aim was to inspire creativity in young Kiwi filmmakers, during the long days and nights of national lockdown in March and April 2020. Drawing on the theme "finding your way home", Salvador Sutherland (playing the lead role) wrote and directed this tale of a boy beating bubble boredom with a pen, paper and some spare clothes. His new mate Marvin proves an excellent playmate. But even imaginary friends need a break from WWF trampoline wrestling now and then.
