If you look at the beginning of the film clip of Ray Columbus and the Invaders appearing on Bandstand, you will see them being introduced by fellow New Zealander Brian Henderson, from Otago. He hosted Bandstand back then.

John Bonham did play drums on She's A Mod, but it was on the original recording by the Birmingham-based Senators. The initials on the bass drum stand for Jimmy Hill, The Invader's drummer, not John Henry (Bonham).

Love it - I went to a school assembly on Friday and they were singing She's a Mod, so I just had to look it up.

For all you Led Zeppelin fans out there.... John Henry Bonham on the drums in 1964 ('J H' is on top of the Invaders name on the bass drum).

Fantastic reminds me of when I was a kid in the 60's hanging around in our pub kitchen and my big sister and other waitresses playing this record brings a smile to my face happy times

Brings back memories of the early to mid sixties for me. I used to see Ray and the Invaders often in those days playing around Auckland. So sad we have to loose such a great talent. Also a great guy. Keep fighting Ray as we know you will.
