In this mockumentary Kevin Smith probes a town that smells riches, thanks to a shellfish: a geoduck (pronounced gooey duck) with aphrodisiac qualities. The quota is owned by a local couple, but big business, officialdom and local Māori all have their own ideas. Smith gets caught in the crossfire. Writer Stephen Sinclair (Braindead, Russian Snark) and director Michael Hurst satirise everything in sight, including the media, Kiwi towns and Smith's hunk persona.
